History
F.P. Journe debuted the Résonance in 2000, reviving a horological concept explored by Antide Janvier and Abraham-Louis Breguet in the eighteenth century but never before industrialised in a wristwatch. Early references were cased in platinum at 38 mm before the line matured to a 40 mm format, with rose gold cases offered alongside. Production continued for nearly two decades, cementing the reference as one of the most technically singular watches of the modern era.
