Constellation Globemaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer

The Omega Constellation Globemaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer in reference 130.33.39.21.03.001 revives the iconic pie-pan dial architecture of the original 1952 Constellation in a thoroughly modern 39 mm stainless steel case. Powered by Calibre 8900, it holds the distinction of being among the first watches to achieve METAS Master Chronometer certification, a standard that goes beyond COSC to include magnetic resistance testing up to 15,000 gauss. The blue sunburst pie-pan dial gives the piece an unmistakably dressy character while the Co-Axial escapement ensures long-term mechanical stability.

Omega introduced the Globemaster in 2015 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Constellation line, deliberately referencing the stepped, ribbed dial and claws-on-bezel aesthetic of the earliest Constellation models from the 1950s. It was simultaneously the launch vehicle for Omega's new Master Chronometer certification, developed in partnership with the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). The Globemaster quickly became a flagship of the Constellation collection, demonstrating that a dress watch could meet rigorous anti-magnetic and precision standards previously associated mainly with sports references. The line has remained in continuous production since its debut, with the blue pie-pan variant standing as one of its most recognisable expressions.
