Nautilus 5711 Green Dial

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-014 is the olive-green-dialled swan song of the reference 5711 line, released in 2021 as the final expression of an icon that had defined luxury sport watchmaking for decades. Its 40 mm stainless steel case houses the refined Calibre 26-330 S C, a movement celebrated for its finishing and reliability. The sunburst olive-green dial, with its characteristic horizontal embossing, gave the 5711 an entirely new visual identity in its closing chapter.

The reference 5711 was Patek Philippe's long-running reinterpretation of Gerald Genta's original 1976 Nautilus design, and by the early 2020s it had become one of the most coveted references in modern watchmaking. In 2021, Patek Philippe announced that the 5711 line would be discontinued, and the 5711/1A-014 — with its striking olive-green dial — was revealed as the final reference to bear that number. The announcement sent immediate shockwaves through the collector community, as the combination of a beloved reference reaching its end and a wholly new dial colour created extraordinary demand. The 5711/1A-014 is now widely regarded as one of the most consequential collector's pieces of the 2020s.
