Reference 15500ST succeeded the 15400ST as the standard 41 mm Royal Oak, debuting at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2019 alongside the smaller 37 mm 15450ST. The new Calibre 4302 brought a longer power reserve and a redesigned rotor compared to its predecessor, marking the most substantive movement upgrade the 41 mm Royal Oak had received in many years. Collectors noted subtle refinements to the case and dial finishing that distinguished the 15500ST from earlier references. Production concluded around 2022 as Audemars Piguet transitioned to updated references within the Royal Oak family.
